Please take a look at the attached image (zh_TW_test_combined.jpg). Note that the multi-byte characters rendered in the FX TextBox component (below) are lighter and more faded than the ones rendered in the SwingTextField component (above). This image was taken on Windows Vista in zh_TW locale.
This is not the case with other locales, like Japanese on WinXP. Please compare it to the other attached image (ja_test_combined.jpg).
