If a slider component has a negative min value, it behaves badly: when we release the thumb, it goes to max value, and can be moved only by clicking of the left track.

Actually, following "buggy Slider control in 1.2 ?" <http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10743413> thread, it looks like any non null value for min leads to an erratic behavior.
