There are various rendering artifacts when running JavaFX on Mac OS X with JDK5 1.5.0_19 or later. This is a placeholder bug to aggregate these issues for the purpose of creating a JavaFX release note for 1.3.
The reason for the rendering bugs is that Apple uses the Quartz renderer for JDK5 starting with 1.5.0_19. JDK6 uses Sun's Java2D renderer and does not have these problems. This primarly affects Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) which uses JDK5 by default.
