The Production Suite online help for SoMa says this about the Embed Fonts export feature in Illustrator and Photoshop:
Embed Fonts: This option is only enabled when the option is selected to create FXD descriptions of Photoshop text layers. If you select this option, all TrueType, Type1 and Open Type fonts used in the converted artwork are stored as TrueType (TTF) font files. The font files for system fonts (Arial, SansSerif and Times Roman) are not embedded, because they should be available on all systems. Embedded font files are included in the JavaFX Content File (FXZ). Mobile applications use a font that is embedded in the mobile SDK, and font information in the graphic is ignored. If the graphic is used in both desktop and mobile applications, checking this box affects only desktop applications. If the graphic is used only in mobile applications, checking this box has no effect.

However, the fix for RT-1906 was that system fonts are now exported when the embedded fonts feature is selected. The help text should be fixed for Presidio, and this issue should be documented in the SoMa release notes.
