Changes to a TreeView's root fails when the root of the tree view is not expanded.

Run the attached file. Every button push assigns a new root to the TreeView. If the whole tree is expanded, the action succeeds. However, when the tree is collapsed, the action fails, new root is not assigned and the action would always fail from this point on.
