I have previously filed an issue being unable to run WebView as a Java component inside Oracle Forms. This issue was filed as RT-11880. Vasiliy Baranov helped me get this problem fixed. In this process, I helped him setup an Oracle Forms test environment. I have attached the full email correspondence (RT_11880_Oracle_Forms_setup.txt) regarding this case, should a new developer take this case. The correspondance should contain all setup details for an Oracle Forms test setup.
I have now found a new issue, only reproducing with Oracle Forms. Please see the attached code examples. You will find an example for a stand-alone applet and one for Oracle Forms. In the stand-alone applet, a scrollbar in visible inside the browser window. This is not the case for the Oracle Forms demo, even though there is very little difference between the 2 code samples, as you can see in the code.
For live samples of the problem, please see the following URLs, based on b24:
Oracle Forms (no scrollbar visible)
http://testkirkeportal.brandsoft.dk/forms/frmservlet?config=browser
Stand-alone applet (scrollbar visible)
http://testkirkeportal.brandsoft.dk/testapplet.html
As already mentioned, Vasiliy Baranov has a working Oracle Forms setup running already. If this case is assigned to another developer, you can either refer to him or email me directly for setup assistance, as he did, if the attached email correspondence is insufficient. I hope, that this issue can be solved in a manner similar toRT-11880.
