WebEngine does not seem to be able to render HTML italic text correct. See attached example, test applet implementation here:

Open the following test page in another browser and in the applet:

http://www.tizag.com/htmlT/htmlitalic.php

You can clearly see from this example, that the italic formatting is completely ignored by WebEngine - as if it doesn't recognize the <i> tag.
