Using DTFX, this scenarios will lead user to a catch-22 situation and unable to load any fx applet
*** Given:
- 64-bit Windows
- 64-bit jre installed
- 64-bit IE used
- No 32-bit or 64-bit FX runtime installed
*** Steps:
0) Using 64-bit IE (tested with 64-bit IE 8 on 64-bit XP) to invoke the FX DT-enable applet
http://jfx.us.oracle.com/hudson/view/Presidio/job/presidio/230/label=windows-amd64-14/artifact/artifacts/deployed/dtTests/applet-dynamic1.html
1) Follow the DT flow to download and install FX runtime
2) Note that FX runtime installed under 32-bit program file, not 64-bit program file
3) Close the 64-bit browser and open it and once again, try to load the FX DT-enable applet
4) DT kicks in and tries to download/install FX runtime again and end up with the message "You already have this version of JavaFX runtime installed" . However, the fx applet can not be loaded with the message "Java FX 2.0 is required to view this content"
That is catch-22 situation and such users will end up looping between step#3 and #4
