Unpack the attached archive and load bootstrap.html file. In FF and Safari it renders a menu, and in WebView a "Loading" header. Loading seems to never complete.

The submitter claims the reason is a script that doesn't get executed from a local JS file (but does when the file is put on a server) :

As you can see on webkit browsers it works on Safari and does not work on Chrome, and the moment you put these files behind a web server it works fine for Chrome and JavaFx WebEngine.
