MouseClicked events are missed occasionally with JavaFX8.0.0-b82

In JavaFX 8.0.0-b82 sometimes MouseClicked events are not delivered as there were in earlier builds.
My application see all the events with JavaFX 2.2.7 and earlier JDK8 builds, but with b82 sometimes the clicks simply don't register.
