Can we re-introduce the feature where it's possible to edit an ID from the layers panel (the users workflow can be disrupted if they are forced to switch tabs).

Double click on the name to make it appear in an editable field with keyboard focus.

If the element is a container then a double click to the left or the right of the name will open / close the container (as it does currently).
