Gtk: Scrolling stops in the combobox popup when the pointer leaves the slider box

If pointer moves ouside the slider box while the slider knob is dragged the scrolling stops.
But until the left mouse button releases it is possible to continue scrolling if the pointer returns to the knob.

The list view alone works fine.
