Is reproduced on Windows and Linux.
Not a regression, is reproduced with all 2.2.0 b14 and 2.2.0 b18.
Two application windows are created by creating 2 stages and calling stage.show().
The behavior that selection goes away when you switch to another JavaFX window is uncommon.
NOTE: The selection does not go away if you switch to another NOT Java FX application.
Netbeans project is in attachment. Use project that was uploaded later.
