When installing javafx runtime via DT, there is an incorrect message displayed at the end of successful installation
javafx installed OK but this strange message led users toward a negative result, impression - totally confused
*** Tested OS:
- x86 XP(sp2), x86 Win 7
- jre: 7-fcs, 6u27 (dt-awareness)
- DT FX: presidio-deploy-scrum (latest b313)
http://jfx.us.oracle.com/hudson/view/Presidio/job/presidio-deploy-scrum/313/label=windows-i586-14/
- Browser: FF, IE
*** Steps to reproduce:
0) Install jre7-fcs
1) Make sure the system does not have any fx runtime installed
2) Use FF or IE to invoke the page
http://jfx.us.oracle.com/hudson/view/Presidio/job/presidio-deploy-scrum/313/label=windows-i586-14/artifact/artifacts/apps/experiments/BrickBreaker.html
3) Try to launch this app via java webstart by click 'click to launch this app as webstart'
4) DT kicked in- Follow the flow to install javafx
5) At the very end of completed javafx installation screen, click 'close' the setup dialog
If you see the 'Installation of javafx failed [error:generic]' as attached screenshot, then the issue is reproducible
(in fact, javafx installed fine as the app will load if you either reload the page or close the browser and re-launched again)
The failure message is misled and incorrect. Isn't the message intend to ask users to close the browser instead?
