Seems like the fallback applet that is included in the preloaders.jar file should be updated to point to java.com/javafx. It is currently pointing to JavaFX.com and the download user experience isn't good.
Also note that there seems to be some missing text. The applet design should be as similar as possible to the banner we created for DT. So I would suggest the text in the applet read:
"Content on this page requires JavaFX 2.0. To install JavaFX, click the Free Download button below. After you are done downloading and installing JavaFX, please restart your browser and return to this page."
You can test this by running the following command from the Windows command line
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin>javaws http://jfx.us.oracle.com/hudson/view/2.0.2/job/2.0.2/label=windows-i586-/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/artifacts/deployed/DefaultPreloader/Fish.jnlp
