WebView refuses to render Google Map directions in SW mode

      Run the attached program in HW (aka D3D) mode. WebView will display Google Map directions as expected, see the hw.png screenshot.

      Now run the same program in SW (aka J2D) mode. The map will be displayed, but the directions path will not, see the sw.png screenshot.
