I've found this bug on Win machine, and don't know is it Win specific.
While verifying http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/DTL-4829 I've added ImageView and used image from desctop and then saved FXML file at desktop. The path is the same in SB ang FXML-file, but it looks irrational: "../AppData/Local/Temp/../../../Desktop/splash.gif". It's correct, but only for my local machine.
To reproduce:
-drop ImageView
-try to set image property and select any image on your desktop
-click on text into image text field
-save resulting FXML file and check image path
