Please see the attached screenshot showing my monitor placement.

I notice that if I dragged my VT window to the left monitor the menubar menus do not display properly.

After looking into it further it seems that this is happening because the monitors are staggered vertically.

Depending on how exaggerated the stagger is the menus can appear far away from the menubar or even in the top left hand corner of the main monitor (in the screenshot the main monitor is the one on the right showing the OS menubar).
