If an exception or error is thrown from an EventHandler of a KeyFrame it kills all animation and rendering

The attached program (a modified version of HelloAnimation) illustrates this. It throws an exception from KeyFrame kf2 after 1.2 seconds. This exception kills all animation and rendering in the application.

The problem is that the animation code is not catching exceptions and errors, which it must do.
