If you modify the image (i.e. a WritableImage) used by an ImagePattern then the resulting objects do not repaint with the new data from the image.

In the attached test case you can see the image animating in the ImageView, but not in the background rectangle.
If you uncomment the line in the InvalidationListener that resets the rectangle's fill on every frame then the background will animate as well.
