On Mac OS X 10.7.5 in Safari, when running as an applet, and calling FileChooser.showOpenDialog, the dialog opens behind the browser. The only way to view it is to minimize the browser (moving it doesn't help).

I'm not sure if this is related to http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7196264 or http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=8001161.

I also checked if this issue hadn't been reported yet, since it seems so trivial to encounter, but found none. I got this issue on three different macs.
Edit: it also occurs when using Firefox on Mac
