FX painfully slow on Mac

      Java Web start 10.9.2.05
      Java JRE 1.7.0_09-b05
      JavaFX: 1.2

      the program everything basically seems to work but the animations for the menu buttons and menu structure are painfully slow.
      This effect happens since Java Version 1.7.09 - it was running on Java 1.6.37
