To reproduce, run an application such as HelloTextArea or Ensemble with "-Dprism.order=sw" and select some mixed ltr and rtl text in a TextField or TextArea control. The selected text fill color shows a mix of dark gray and unselected rtl text is invisible (perhaps white-on-white).

This does not happen with "-Dprism.order=j2d" where the selected text is white as expected.
