EGLFB: sporadic crash starting FX samples using outdated Raspbian OS version

XMLWordPrintable

FX Samples BouncingBalls, BrickBreaker and FXML-LoginDemo (and, possibly, other applications) may crash during startup when using an outdated version of Raspbian (2012-09-18). Using the newer versions (2012-10-28 at the moment of the release) we do not experience the crash.

The observed crash log when seing this crash is as follows:

      #

Workaround (solution) is to update the Raspbian OS version to 2012-10-28 or newer.
