This report is to follow up on the fix of http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-18962
On x64 Vista(sp2) machine, when using 32-bit jre, 32-bit browser, the JavaFX web start application from the web page can not be launched. There is no issue on x64 Win 7
*** Tested Configuration:
- x64 Vista)sp2)
- 32-bit jre 6u31
- 32-bit browser: Firefox 10.0.2, Chrome 17.x
- 32-bit Javafx 2.1 runtime -b14, b15
*** Steps to reproduce:
0) On 64-bit Vista(so2), clean up all jre, javafx runtime on the machine
1) Install 32-bit jre 6u31
2) Install 32-bit Javafx 2.1-b15
3) Using 32-bit FF or 32-bit Chrome to invoke Javafx sample
http://jre.us.oracle.com/java/re/javafx/2.1/promoted/all/b15/binaries/windows-i586/javafx-samples-2.1.0-beta/BrickBreaker.html
4) Click 'click to launch this app as webstart'
If the application fails to load, then the issue is reproducible
