Run Advanced Bar Chart, Advanced Area Chart or Advanced Line Chart sample in Ensemble.
Try Actions > Remove Data Item.
RESULT:
Bar Chart: The animation of bar removal is done with discrete values (I see one intermediate position between initial value and 0).
Area Chart and Line Chart: There is no animation in area/line shape (when middle point is removed), data point jumps to some middle value and disappears only after some period of time.
