Run Advanced Area Chart sample in Ensemble
Verify Animated is enabled in XY Chart Properties section in the right
Click Actions > Remove All Data (which invokes chart.setData(null);).
RESULT: See Animated is disabled in XY Chart Properties section in the right

This is applicable to other chart types as well.
