If I store the attached image on the local file system and then try to open the image in WebLauncher, on my laptop it takes more than a minute to fully display the image. In other browsers it takes less than a second.

Also, while WebView is loading the image, the application turns out to be unresponsive.

Also, it looks like decoding gets slower as more image content appears on the screen.
