1. selection of text is bigger then control, see screenshot
2. word "Search" is shown in red font -- usual color for background note is gray (see screenshot from Firefox)
3. word "Search" disappears only is user start typing -- usual behavior is to disappear on getting focus
4. word "Seacrh" appears back if text field is empty -- usual behavior is to reappear on losing focus if field is empty
5. Selection doesn't disappear if user starts typing. Which means, you can't select text and type -- all your new symbols would be considered selected and will disappear
6. Copypast word advanced into Search box, move cursor to the end and click backspace. You will see that you can't delete whole word.
7. Search box keeps throwing "java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range" to log (see attached log).
8. "Cross" sign overlaps text (see screenshot)

each of these issue is not so important, but overall they gives bad impression of control visible on every page of the app
