The fix for JDK-8042660 should fix the byteMutation test failures. But the test does random byte fuzzy-ing. So, it's difficult to tell if the fix handles all the failure cases.
So, unquarantine the test if there are no new failures over the next few months. Otherwise, open a new bug if there are new failures with the test.
