A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Clicking on far bottom/right area of JComboBox drop down button will make popup immediately open and close right way.

This happens on all of the java swing skins including metal skin.

On the nimbus skin the issue is less obvious because drop down button is curved (not edged) but clicking on the button outside of curve still reproduces the issue.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Click on far bottom / right pixel of the JComboBox drop down button. It will make JPopup automatically flicker (appear and dissappear).

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
The popup should stay open after the click.

REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
