As I have already explained on the swing mailing list
the bug happens also if the API is used accurate:

Our Swingbased RIA highly depends on Swing Timer.
We have already spend time to workaround this issue but we can not fix
it at all because also closed 3th party libs, and of course the JRE itself,
depends on the Swing Timer. Since we use Webstart we can not fork/copy anything
and Webstart still does not support to set bootclasspath to load a fixed TimerQueue.class
We have no chance to fix it.



REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced often.
