Choose appropriate action from "Remind Me Later or Uninstall". This will be followed by "Java content is disabled in web browsers" dialog box with instructions to how to enable the Java content in web browser. Click Next and Close.
8. Now to enable Java in browser, launch Java Control Panel from Start Search or C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_74\bin\javacpl.exe
9. Go to "Security" tab and check the first option -> "Enable Java content in the browser". Click Apply - Continue (UAC permission dialog) and Ok to complete the action.
10. Verify applet - https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp will confirm the installed version.
