A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
The Java updater does not remove the downloaded copy of the installer once it is finished updating Java. This can lead to a large accumulation of Java installers at ~/Library/Application Support/Java/. If keeping an installer after updates is desirable, then a checkbox should be presented in the updater.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Recurve update notice
Update Java
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Installer cleans up after itself.
ACTUAL -
I have at least 3 copies of the Java installer sitting on my computer, wasting space.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
