Users have reported inability to install JDK 8u77 (64-bit) on a Windows 7 64-bit system with error "Semi colon in directory path" during installation process.
Installing in alternate location failed with similar results.

"Downloaded jdk-8u77-windows-x64.exe and trying to install it on a freshly installed Windows 7 64-bit.
I left all options at the default settings, but when I click next, I get "Semi-colon found in selected path"

With previous versions there were no problems.
I tested:
Moved the EXE to c:\
Change the installation path "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_77\" to "C:\jdk\"
Always the same error."

Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, Java SE Dev.Kit 8 Upd 74 (64-bit) installed.
