FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
1.7.0_80-b15
ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
Windows 8.1
Windows 7 SP1
EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
Internet Explorer 11
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
It's the same behaviour as in Bug #7092290, which should be fixed already.
Java 1.6.0_45 was installed on the PC, then 1.7.0_80 is installed in parallel.
On some clients opening IE11 then results in a UAC for the following command: "C:\PROGRA~2\Java\jre7\bin\ssvagent.exe" -new -high
Even if a newer version is installed in parallel (1.8.0_92), UAC keeps coming up with 1.7.0_80 asking for administrative rights.
ACTUAL -
JRE should never ask for administrative rights when opening IE.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced occasionally.
CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
Disable SSV-Helper Plugin in IE or provide administrative rights once
