[If platform specific issue] Is it a new (previously unsupported) OS/browser/mode testing:
[If new configuration testing] Issue specific to execution mode or OS/browser version:
Copy JDF workspace, install test jre,and run this case
Steps to reproduce:
1.Add http://mossad.us.oracle.com:8080/ to the Exception Site List in Java Control Panel->Security
2.Enable the option "Enable caching password for authentication" in java control panel
3.Clear the cache
4.Start browser, launch the following java applet: http://mossad.us.oracle.com:8080/basicAuth/tests/Test.html
5.Expected behavior: In the authentication dialog, it can be noticed that there is an option check box available "Remember my password"
6.Do not select the check box. Enter the following authentication details: Username: jituB, Password: jitu20
(ONLY apply to JDK 8 and JDK7 version 7u11 and later: A security warning dialog will pop-up asking you if you want to run the
application. click "Run" to accept. NOTE: This is NOT a cert dialog)
7.The applet should be loaded fine
8.Restart the browser to access the same applet page again, make sure you will be asked again for authentication
The actual result:
At step5:There is no authentication dialog pop up from Java,it loaded fine directly after entering username as "jituD" and password "jitu" in browser.
