JDK 1.8.0.31 on the Mac
ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
OSX El Capitan
Windows 10
EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
Using a virtual machine with Windows 10 to build a dmg on the Mac via SSH.
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Summary:
We are using Parallels Desktop on OSX El Capitan in order to use a Windows 10 virtual machine.
On that VM we have a build script that uses Apache Ant, it attempts to build a .dmg file on the Mac machine using SSH.
We frequently get an error "Failed to produce a bundle" when it tries to do this, but it does not fail everytime: It has the most chance to succeed if we:
Do nothing on the Mac while the build process is running on the Windows VM, which means: No external USB devices connected, no applications running, and we need to have one Finder window active which is set to "all my files". If we open more tabs or more Finder windows, or open more Applications then the build process will probably fail as well (giving the error).
