There are cases when close monitoring and analysis of the selected product codes helps pinpoint bugs that otherwise difficult to reproduce in development and SQE. It should include trend analysis across the releases and correlation with the other parameters.

For example, 8u121 shows very hight counts for 1603 (general windows installer error) for Vista service packs 1 and 2 comparing with 8u111. The source of the problem will be investigated.

We already have reports for identifying products codes anomalies, but need to significantly enhance the scope of the reports.
