The grouping of modules into categories in the newly created top-level docs index.html gives an easy entrance to the API javadoc. On the other hand, the color coding is confusing and the entire new page is not satisfactory.
In JDK 9, we will make this page be an HTML-level redirect to the API overview page. Maybe we can enhance the API overview page in a future release to convey this group information.
