current native part of nsk/share/gc/lock/ classes print error messages like "Error: GetObjectClass returned NULL\n" and exit from a native method. in some cases, Java part check return values in other it doesn't, emitting an error, e.g. w/ FatalError, will prevent false-negative test results and help w/ failure investigations.
