Octane (Gbemu & Raytrace) regressions in 10-b29 on Linux and Windows

      Octane-Gbemu shows a very large (-12 to -20%) regression on LXS & WXS.

      Octane-Raytrace shows a -3 to -5% regression on LXS & WXS,

      Linux results are muddled a bit by the appearance of modal results starting with this build.

      VMswap results appear to indicate the cause is in JDK, but not conclusive.
      In both cases, the regression holds into subsequent builds.
