INCLUDEDIR in krb5.conf can be used to include conf files from a directory. However, editors or filesystems might generate artifacts related to existing .conf files which should not be included. These files normally start with a "." or ends with another file extension. The former should be excluded. (The latter is not a concern here because the files do not end with ".conf".)
