The apps/experiments directory contains various experimental programs that are no longer built or used.
None of the programs in apps/experiments will even compile because of their use of internal packages, or impl_ methods that have been removed, or other missing dependencies. They haven't been touched (other than superficially, as part of various global cleanup changesets) in nearly 4 years.
