SPECjvm2008-XML.validation-ParGC perf regressions in 10-b40 (all platforms)

      With 10-b40, SPECjvm2008-XML.validation-ParGC is showing 1%-3% regressions across all platforms (Linux-x64, Windows-x64, Solaris-SPARC, Mac-x64). Linux, SPARC, and Windows show the clearest indication, but regressions appear across all platforms.

      The regressions reproduce in:
      • Triage (ie, re-run on the same machine)
      • Re-triage (ie, run on a different machine)

      The regressions hold through at least b42.

      JVMswap results indicate the cause is in the JVM.
