      A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
      Java applications with Swing UI on macOS have hundreds of open files, apparently for each available font file.

      STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
      Open files can be obtained via Activity Monitor or lsof.


      REPRODUCIBILITY :
      This bug can be reproduced always.
