      During the discussions about the following fixes:

      JDK-8200374 Add ThreadsSMRSupport::verify_hazard_pointer_scanned() to verify threads_do()
      JDK-8201805 ThreadSampler::disenroll() can block safepoints

      Robbin, Erik and David H had some ideas about how to
      improve non-JavaThread life cycle. I've filed this
      enhancement to capture those ideas.
