STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Using:Version: Oxygen.3a Release (4.7.3a)
Build id: 20180405-1200

Click on a project in the package explorer. With context menu select Refactor.rename and modify the existing name.. I did this multiple times and it failed each time. When I selected a very simple project, I got an Eclipse error that indicated issue with moving a file or directory (sorry, don't recall), Not sure this is easily reproducible for you.


ACTUAL -
Eclipse displays new project name along with a bright red X that indicates an error or some kind. Can't find the error.Eclipse creates an error log which I have copied in full in the "Error Message(s) / Crash Logs" section of this form.
