A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When attempting to install or update Java after running the installer nothing happens. When I go to the Temp folder and look into the jusched.log there is a line that says failed to write C:\Users\Josip KrajnoviÄ\AppData\LocalLow\Oracle.
By activating the Administrator account within Windows 10 thru CMD, only then am I able to install and use Java and all the software/programs that require Java to run, but only on the Administrator account. (The Oracle folder in LocalLow and all it's files are written C:\Users\Josip KrajnoviÄ\AppData\LocalLow\Oracle)
When I switch back to my User account (Josip KrajnoviÄ) that is also and Administrator account type I can see that Java is installed properly but I'm not able to run it or any other program that requires it (example Data Loader from Salesforce, SoapUI from Smartbear).
I've tried many solutions found on forums and community's, but none worked for me, Microsoft support wasn't of any help either.
Could the problem be related to my User account name? since it contains a space and a special character "Ä"
CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
By activating the Administrator account within Windows 10 thru CMD, only then am I able to install and use Java and all the software/programs that require Java to run.
FREQUENCY : always
