A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
The JDK installer on Windows requires administrative privileges to execute. However, in many cases all that is required is the expanded JDK files in a nominated directory without any shortcuts or registry settings (as on Linux).
Requiring administrative privileges also makes this installer difficult to integrate into our internal software packaging process.
Can we have an option to silently extract the JDK files into a nominated directory?
